The gardens “Gods Acres” has become a landmark in a very poor socially disadvantaged area of Woodlands. Woodlands is a suburb of a town called Pietermaritzburg. The area where the garden has been started was a piece of vacant land used by the drug dealers and for other nefarious activities to take place.
